Philippa Wingate

Philippa graduated from Swansea University with a Masters in Osteopathy in July 2021.
She has moved from Taunton to start her osteopathic career. Her interest in osteopathy started after witnessing what osteopathic treatment did for her mother's neck pain. Following a horse riding accident, Philippa too sort osteopathic treatment and so her interest in the science and art of this therapy began.
Philippa received her PGcert in Animal Osteopathy in 2022 and is following her interest in treating horses.
Phillipa also uses laser therapy as part of her osteopathic treatment. She has found this to be particularly helpful in treating sports injuries and knees!

What Philippa says about her role:

"Osteopaths are a lot like detectives. We ask a lot of questions and assess the body, looking for clues that will lead us to a diagnosis. I love getting to meet and help people from all walks of life."

 Beverage choice

Water, water, water. Philippa loves the stuff. Nothing like Tewkesbury's finest!
After a long day Phillipa likes to relax with an indulgent hot chocolate.

Spare time

Phillipa enjoys a hike with her Bedlington terrier. She has two horses who she rides frequently and she also enjoys exploring the outdoors on her road and off-road bikes.

Professional aspirations

Philippa continues to further her understanding and scope of osteopathy by studying cranial osteopathy.
 "Excellent treatment highly recommended.
Got my body back into good shape."
"The treatment I received was first class.
I had a warm welcome and a comprehensive chat about my issues, followed by good treatment in a relaxed atmosphere. I was told what the osteopath
was doing, then given exercises to do at home to assist me." RI
